See what others miss

The idea started in 2008.

I was sitting in a café, watching someone unbox a phone they had waited months for. The glow on their face. The careful peel of plastic. The first boot-up chime. Everyone captures that moment. The launch. The honeymoon. The first week when everything feels perfect because it is supposed to.

But nobody was capturing what I really wanted to know: what happens six months later? Does the battery still last a full day? Does the camera still feel magic, or has it become the thing you avoid using? Does the car still feel solid when you close the door, or have you started noticing the rattle?

That insight sat in a notebook for sixteen years. The technology was not ready. We were still in the era of star ratings and angry one-off reviews. What I wanted was a living record — a way to watch feelings change over time, to see the arc from excitement to reliability to, sometimes, regret.

That is what RavensEdge is.

How it works

You add the products you own — phones, cars, headphones, home appliances, whatever matters to you. Each one becomes a raven in your nest.

You rate how they feel using five simple states. Not a star rating. Not a survey. Just a honest gut check: thriving, healthy, steady, fading, or declining.

Over time, the platform tracks how those feelings shift. It shows you your honeymoon index — how much the initial glow has worn off — and surfaces the things that are quietly falling apart before you even notice.

The five feel states

Thriving9–10
Healthy7–8.9
Steady5–7
Fading3–4.9
Declining0–2.9

This is not a review site. It is not a product database. It is a place to be honest about the things you own — and to discover, over months and years, which products actually deserve your loyalty.

I built it because I needed it. I hope you find it useful too.
