What data we collect
When you create a nest, we ask for your email address and a username. As you use RavensEdge, we also store the product ratings you submit, the dates you mark products as owned, and any price you choose to log (this is optional). We collect your device and browser type through our analytics tools so we can understand how people use the platform and fix issues quickly.
Why we collect it
We need this data to run the RavensEdge service — to show you your own nest, calculate your raven scores, and let you track how products feel over time. We also use aggregated, anonymised sentiment data to spot trends across the catalogue. If you opt in, we will send you occasional notifications about your ravens or new features. You can change your mind at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep your account data for as long as your nest is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal information within 30 days. Aggregate anonymised data may be kept longer because it no longer identifies you.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share anonymised, aggregated sentiment insights with research partners or brands, but only in forms that do not let anyone identify individual users.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete the data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, just email us at hello@ravensedge.io.
Cookies
We use analytics cookies to understand how people move through the site. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.
GDPR
We process your data under the lawful bases of legitimate interest and consent, depending on the activity. RavensEdge is based in the United Kingdom, so UK GDPR applies.
